Section 2: Adult and Youth/Teen Trainer Checklist
- Adult Trainers are expected to conduct an intake with the participants as soon as possible after the program is confirmed by IOR. Soon after the intake, the Adult Trainer should get in touch with the Youth Trainer to brief him/her on the conversation. Purpose:
- Brings the Youth Trainer up-to-date on participants’ needs thus allowing him/her to customize and plan the youth training
- Prepares the Youth Trainer for his/her phone call with the participants
- Ensures that participants will not be asked redundant questions nor have duplicate conversations with the trainers
- Adult Trainers and Youth Trainers should discuss and coordinate the following points:
- Training day(s) start/end times
- Lunch start/end times Lunch protocol (eat with family or not, leave the training premises or not, etc.)
- Family activity(s) (if any) start/end times, and which trainer will lead
- Directions to the training and other training logistics
- Each trainer is expected to manage his/her own training’s agenda, program expenses and receipts, evaluations, and any other required documents.
